2021 Summer Auditions
Tryout Fee is $30

First and foremost this is an audition! With that being stated, our Staff will not train, work with, nor grant second audition do-overs to any Satin Doll prospects!  Our Goal is to climb to the top by selecting the best of the best potential Satin Dolls.  There are 3 stages in the Satin Doll Audition Process: The Interview & Agility, Individual Dance, and Group Dance. Every stage of the audition process is a selection/dismissal process. An announcement will be made    


(Stage 1 ) Interview & Agility 

After submitting your tryout application, you will receive an email with your tryout instructions on the time and date of your interview. All prospects should be properly dressed in business attire. The purpose for this is to help insure all chosen prospects have exceptional morals that will not reflect negatively on the University, The MGMM, or the Satin Dolls.


Prospects will be judged on Posture, Grace, and Confidence.   You will be instructed to perform a list of stunts. If you are not familiar with any of the stunts listed below click here for a video demonstration.

  • Left Split 
  • Right Split 
  • Left Kick 
  • Right Kick
  • Front Rollover 
  • Backwards Rollover 
  • Cart Wheel 
  • Back Bend 
  • Toe Touch
  • Cat Jump
  •  V-Kick (death drop)
  •  Hitch Kick 
  • Individual Dance 

(Stage 2) Group Dance
Prospects that are chosen to continue after Stage 1 will be taught a group routine by existing members of the team.         

Stage 3) Individual Dance

Prospects will be given the opportunity to showcase their creativity, timing, techniques, rhythm, and style with their individual dance. The dance should be 45 seconds  to 1 minute long. Choose your own music. Music must be submitted on cd, flash drive, or your your cell phone(if you choose to submit using your phone, you must supply any necessary attachments for the DJ)
